The Calgary Expo is proud to have Brandon Peterson, Pia Guerra and Tony Harris join our creative guest line up!
Brandon Peterson has been working as an illustrator in comics professionally for over a dozen years. He has worked at Marvel several times during his career. He started on a New Warriors annual and an issue of X-Factor. This led to a short run on Uncanny –Men. He left Marvel to pencil Top Cow’s Codename: Strykeforce and Arcanum. He returned to Marvel to work on several X-Men spinoff mini-series. Peterson left Marvel once more to become Art Director of CrossGen Comics, where he also worked on Chimera and Mystic. Once again he returned to Marvel where he worked on various projects including Ultimate X-Men and the mini-series Ultimate Vision, Ultimate Extinction and Strange.
Pia Guerra is the penciller and co-creator of Y - The Last Man, written by Brian K. Vaughan. She has won the Shuster Award for Outstanding Canadian Comic Book Artist of 2006 and in 2008 she won two Eisners.
Tony Harris was one of the original members of Atlanta's Gaijin Studios. His current studio, Jolly Roger Studio, is based out of Macon, Georgia. He has worked on a number of projects including Obergeist, JSA, Doctor Strange:The Flight of Bones, and Spiderman: With Great Power. Current projects include Ex Machina with Brian K. Vaughan, published by Wildstorm Comics and War Heroes with Mark Millar, published by Image Comics.
