Comic and cover artists Kalman Andrasofsky, Ian Boothby, Leonard Kirk and Francesco "Matt" Mattina are shining their shoes and getting ready to come to Calgary!

Kalman Andrasofszky is currently the cover artist of REBELS from DC Comics and has recently done interiors for Marvel in NYX: No Way Home, Captain America #600 and Dazzler. Andrasofszky uses both traditional drawing and digital tools to bring his comic book art to life.

Ian Boothby is a comic book writer, comedian and improv artist. In the comics field he is best known for his work on Simpsons Comics and Futurama Comics for Matt Groening's Bongo Comics. Boothby has written more Simpsons Comics than any other writer. Boothby won an Eisner for best short story for ‘Murder He Wrote’ in The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror #14.

Leonard Kirk is an American born comic book artist who has lived most of his life in the Niagara Region of Ontario Canada. He began his career in the early 90’s illustrating black and white comics for independent publisher Malibu Graphics.  After working with Top Cow and DC, Leonard signed an exclusive contract with Marvel Comics and has been drawing for the publisher ever since.

Francesco Mattina is a comic book cover artist from Turin, Italy. Mattina was introduced to the world of comics after he was discovered during an international talent search by MarVel Creator Liaison C.B. Cebulski. Cebulski brought Mattina to the attention of Bill Rosemann, the editor of The Thunderbolts. Included in Mattina’s portfolio pieces was a Thunderbolts image. Roseman promptly bought the image and used it for the cover of Thunderbolts #126. Mattina continues to create covers for  Thunderbolts  and has also created covers for War Machine, Fantastic Four, Nova ,and Azreal.
