James Marsters, known primarily for his role as Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer will be doing a solo acoustic performance of his original music in conjunction with the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo.  The concert, entitled James Marsters EXPOsed will be held on on Friday, April 27, 2012 at the Boyce Theatre on the Stampede Grounds.

The concert will also feature music from Kyle Stevens, the front man for the nerd-tastic band Kirby Krackle and will be hosted by the Calgary Expo's mascot, Emily Expo.

Resistance is Futile! Please join us for the next installment of The Calgary Expo Presents EXPOsure: A Monthly Film Series as we screen Star Trek: First Contact at the Plaza theatre in Kensington.

In mid-January, the Calgary Expo will be making a fantastic guest announcement related to Star Trek: The Next Generation so if you would like to celebrate this announcement along with us and your fellow Trekkies then make sure to come by the Plaza for 3pm on Sunday, February 5, 2012.

The screening starts at 3pm with doors opening at 2pm.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 13 and under.

You can also enter to win our grand prize – a pair of VIP passes to the Calgary Expo April 27-29! The final draw for this prize will be on April 13, 2012.

We'll have door prizes, a charity raffle with an amazing TNG prize pack, and a guest announcement!

Come dressed in your favorite Star Trek shirt, costume and/or accessory and get a prize!

Attention all Batfans! We'll be screening the 1966 Batman movie at The Plaza on Sunday, January 8th at 3:00pm. Enjoy this classic movie on the big screen as we prepare for Adam West's appearance at the Calgary Expo in April.

A portion of the proceeds from tickets will go towards the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Raffle tickets will be available onsite for a Batman prize pack to be drawn at the screening. All raffles will also be entered into a grand prize draw from all of our screenings for a pair of VIP tickets for the 2012 Calgary Expo.
