Amanda Conner started her illustration career working for New York ad agencies Kornhauser & Calene and Kidvertisers. From there she worked at Marvel on the Barbie and Gargoyles lines and other Marvel projects, like Excalibur. Around the same time she also worked on Searchers & Co. for Claypool Comics.

Amanda Conner’s credit include Vampirella and the creator owned book The Pro, with Jimmy Palmiotti and Garth Ennis. She also co-created Gatecrasher for BlackBull Comics.

In addition to Marvel, Conner has also worked at DC. In 2005 she and writer Geoff Johns inaugurated the book JSA Classified with a well received Power Girl story. Other Dc work includes Batgirl, Birds of Prey and Codename: Knockout. She is currently working on new Power Girl series.
