Matthew Wood
Matthew Wood joined Lucasfilm and Skywalker Sound back in 1990, and has been incorporating innovative technology with audio for quite some time. He’s worked on some of the biggest film franchises in the industry, such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Mission Impossible. Matthew’s also worked on such films as Con Air, Eraser, Volcano, and was nominated for an Academy Award this past January for his sound editing on Paul Thomas Anderson’s There Will Be Blood.
He took a break from his sound work to pursue acting. This led to the acting roles of Bib Fortuna and Ody Mandrell in Star Wars Episode I, and the voices of Magaloof and Seboca in Episode II.
But we know him best as the voice of the diabolical light-saber wielding General
Grievous in Revenge of the Sith!
