DPI Studios

Jaysin and Embrio have been collaborating for over 15 years. Having met in the late 80's they were heavily influenced by the flourishing comic book industry. Working as a team Embrio would pencil and Jaysin would ink while they both worked on the storylines. Having little success with self publishing they moved separately into the creative workforce in the areas of animation and web design.

All was not lost, as the time spent working together had built a solid foundation for future projects. Embrio continued to hone his penciling skills while Jaysin expanded his artistic repertoire with a computer and photoshop. Continuing on their separate paths Embrio had developed a strong following with his commissioned art and Jaysin got work in the comics industry as a digital colorist.

Even with success in their separate fields Embrio and Jaysin have always preferred to work together. They have recently started focusing their efforts on sci-fi and fantasy artwork. After winning the Westercon 58 art show's Best Color award and First Place in the 2006 Dragon-con art show the pieces are starting to fall into place for Embrio and Jaysin. Now freelancing for clients such as White-Wolf and Upper-Deck for the World of Warcraft trading card game, things have never looked better for DPI Studios.
